Philip kingsley welcomes new managing director

Philip kingsley welcomes new managing director Luxury global hair care brand, Philip Kingsley, announces personnel changes to the Philip Kingsley Products leadership team.  Michael Berggren joins, replacing Sinead Howard as Managing Director, and will work closely with Chairman, Graham Fish, to further support professional and global growth. Michael joined Philip Kingsley on 3rd October. He will involve himself primarily with the professional and international side of the business, including the brand’s presence at Salon International, London October 15-17. Michael was born in Italy from Swedish parents. He has a Degree in Business Administration from the National University, San Diego, California, and has worked successfully for Wella in Germany & GHD in Scandinavia. Most recently, he worked as General Manager and Sales Director for Henkel in Italy (Schwarzkopf, Indola & Clynol brands) and then for Henkel in the UK & Ireland. He has also worked as a consultant for a premium salon group expanding in the European market. Michael Berggren says, “I have long been a fan of the Philip Kingsley brand and admired it for its authority in the area of hair and scalp health.  It’s an honour to be working with such a pioneering brand at the forefront of innovation, and I look forward to developing the potential of Philip Kingsley, whilst continuing to keep great hair at the core of all we do.” Graham Fish comments, “I am thrilled to be welcoming Michael Berggren into the management team and am delighted to have such a highly skilled and experienced person driving our direction and ambition. “Michael will be shadowing Sinead Howard, Managing Director until the end of November, whereupon he will take up the title of MD. Sinead Howard has agreed commitments to the company until the end of 2016 whereupon she will leave the employ of Philip Kingsley Products & we wish her well in her new role.
