Patrick cameron sparkles with session presentation at salon international

Patrick Cameron brought his usual brand of sparkling showmanship to Salon International 2013 as he introduced a capacity crowd to his latest set of styles, Session: The Editorial Collection. Taking inspiration from hats of all shapes and sizes, Patrick and his senior trainer Jo Wilcox created a host of breathtaking styles that showed the versatility of hair as a workable fabric. Using twists, knots, plaits and braids to create structured bases for styles, Patrick whipped up a wealth of looks that, while theatrical on stage, were grounded in useful techniques that could be taken back to the salon and worked into bridal and prom looks, as well as editorial work. The show closed with an agains-the-clock transformation, which saw Patrick transform long straight hair into a dazzling wide-brimmed hat, worthy of the Royal Box at Ascot.
