Paris Hilton is facing a $35 million lawsuit - for allegedly wearing the wrong brand of extensions.
Paris, who is rarely seen without a mane of extensions, is also alleged to have damaged the brand's marketing campaign with her party girl reputation - even missing a scheduled public appearance, and costing the company over £4 million in damages when she was thrown in jail for a driving offence.
Apparently her contract included an 'implied clause' that she would 'obey the law' - oops!
Paris was responsible for products marketed as Paris Hilton's Dreamcatcher Hair Extensions - available in ten shades, including 'Paris Blonde'. She also launched a nifty range of headbands with extensions attached called 'the Bandit', as modelled above.
According to papers lodged in the Los Angeles Superior-Court, Paris was seen on at least one occasion in 2008 wearing extensions from a rival company. HairTech has accused Miss Hilton of fraud and deceit, and is demanding she pay £22 million in damages.
