Halle Berry has made the cover of US Vogue's September 2010 issue. Sporting a bob hair cut, the actress is the first black woman to appear on the cover of the prestigious September issue since Naomi Campbell in 1989.
The September issue is the most important edition of any fashion magazine; it's traditionally the biggest issue, and reveals all the highly anticipated new season collections, breaks the biggest trends for the year ahead, and announces all the latest names to watch in fashion, and on stage and screen.
The cover of this important edition is always a hotly contested issue, with any celebrity landing the prestigious place pretty much held responsible for the success - or failure - of the issue.
For this groundbreaking issue, Halle is photographed by superstar snapper Mario Testino with a bold bob cut - somewhat resembling the legendary cut sported by US Vogue's famous editor, Anna Wintour...
Becky Barnes from sumptuous celebrity Mayfairsalon, Webster Whiteman says;
"Halle Berry's new hairdo is fierce! The strong cut brings out her cheekbones and accentuates her neck and shoulders, while the fringe frames her eyes, oozing high glamour. This teamed with the sleek texture and cheek-grazing length complements her features perfectly. Blunt styles are bang on trend for this season and Halle's hit the nail on the head with this look. Overall an elegant, fashion-forward style that gives her a really youthful edge. - love it!"
