Paris here i come

This morning my alarm went off at the crack of dawn and I'm in the cab on my way to St Pancras and off to the French capital with La Biosthetique.

Pre-motherhood I would have been made up by this. And, don't get me wrong, I'm very much looking forward to getting to know people - including industry legend Annie Humphries - a lot better and seeing a fab hair show.

BUT ... The morning still started with a full on cry and relaying the longest list of instructions to the other half. Don't think I'd ever realised how tough being a working mum could be. I know I'm not alone and am open to anyone's stories, experiences and advice...

In the meantime, I just hope the little man doesn't escape while I'm away.
