Oxygen lifestyle salon and spa, beaconsfield: interiors inspiration Oxygen Lifestyle Salon and Spa, Beaconsfield Oxygen Lifestyle Salon and Spa in Beaconsfield, which has recently revealed its glossy new look, had the design brief of: "industrial meets earthy@. "The main salon is industrial with a huge skylight flooding the area with natural light; as you progress through the salon it becomes more grounded with natural, tactile materials and earthier tones," explains owner Angelo Russo. "We chose these contrasts to reflect the functionality of the main salon, while further inside it richly reflects the holistic aspect of the spa, where clients experience full Aveda treatments." Divided into various zones, the 2,000 sq ft salon houses 18 styling stations (10 cutting, eight colour) and six backwashes, as well as beauty facilities. Starting with a welcoming reception and retail area, Oxygen Lifestyle Salon and Spa unfolds first into a bright and airy cutting area with a large skylight bathing the salon floor in natural light. Next is the dark and sensual relaxing backwash area, shielded from view by a chainmail curtain. Continuing back is the dedicated colour area which is decorated with bespoke wall art by Rosie Mennem - who has previously been commissioned by Jimmy Choo and Lulu Guinness. "It’s is a real talking point in the salon," says Angelo. Further down the salon in the spa, which uses shades of grey and orange as well as subtle lighting to create a feeling of tranquility. The overall mood of Oxygen Lifestyle Salon and Spa is contemporary and inclusive, combining state-of-the-art functionality with the warm, sensual, luxury of a spa. "We are more than just a salon," says a proud Angelo. "Our personal service and attention to detail provides a professional, enjoyable experience for all, a sense of intimacy and luxury one expects from an Aveda partnership."
