Nhf inspire team enjoy technical seminar day with nathan walker

The NHF Inspire Team recently attended a hands-on education day with colour guru, Nathan Walker, international technical director and head of technical education for Trevor Sorbie.

The day started with Nathan demonstrating four looks from the Trevor Sorbie ID Collection, focussing on current trends including balayage. Students learnt the technical skills behind the trend as well as how to adapt it for both editorial looks and client-friendly styles.

In the afternoon, the team were put to the test with the challenge of recreating one or two of Nathan's looks on mannequin heads - closely monitored and guided by the man himself.

Nathan said: "The training day was amazing - the greatest benefit about educating fellow hairdressers is that they are so self-motivated. The whole day was a team effort - sharing and exchanging ideas and techniques with such passion and enthusiasm. The team were such a pleasure to teach and to spend the day with."

The next event for the team will be a seminar day with Daniel Caceres, Trevor Sorbie's artistic team director and special events director.
