Show: Holmes & Yang Stylist: John Barrett for Alterna Haircare The inspiration: A wearable 'do for women - "Whether she is headed to an office meeting or about to embark on the ultimate travel adventure," said John. The look: An effortless, laid-back look with lots of tousled texture and loose face-framing strands. Get the look: Prep hair with the Alterna Haircare Caviar CC Cream, applying a 10p-piece sized amount throughout sections of the hair. Follow with Bamboo Style Cleanse Extend Translucent Dry Shampoo, spraying a liberal amount throughout the scalp to add texture and create a starting base. For extra wavy texture, spray Bamboo Style Boho Waves Spray from the mid-sections of hair to the ends. For an extra lift at the roots, spray on Bamboo Uplifting Root Blast then dry in using a hairdryer aimed towards the scalp. Once dry, wrap one-inch sections around a 1.5" curling iron and hold for 15 seconds. When done curling the entire head, shake up the curls using fingers - the messier the better. Scrunch with the wave spray again for extra texture.  Push hair into a deep side parting, then start French braiding hair from the nape of neck, twisting and adding sections to the braid until reaching the opposite ear, then secure with a clear elastic. Twist and tuck the braid underneath by pinning into place with bobby pins. For a more undone, effortless look, pull out a few strands near the face and finish with the Bamboo Smooth Kendi Dry Oil Micromist for a boost of shine.
