Paul Hanlon created grungy texture for the Proenza Schouler show Spring/Summer 2013 show at New York Fashion Week.

Show: Proenza Schouler

Stylist: Paul Hanlon

Inspiration: Kurt Cobain

The look: Super-textured lengths

Get the look: Hair was layered with Frederic Fekkai Perfectly Luscious Curl Wave Activating Spray throughout the lengths.

Hair was then braided in lower sections to remove weight and create a thinner look. Lengths were then secured in a ponytail and spritzed with Sheer Hold Hairspray.

Before models stepped out, the ponytail was cut out to create an indented, textured finish.

The crown was then rubbed by hand to create frizzy static around the face.

Key products: Frederic Fekkai Perfectly Luscious Curl Wave Activating Spray, Sheer Hold Hairpsray
