Network she foundation awards honour salon owner

The Network She Foundation Awards saw salon owner Pauline Heap-Williams of Phoenix Hair and Makeup awarded the title of Manager of the Year. The prestigious women's networking group hosted its annual awards on the eve on International Women's Day to recognise the success of businesswomen throughout the country. The night also saw the launch of the new Network She Foundation Charity, which aims to help, support and develop women in business across the globe. Network She founder Ruth Lloyd Williams said: "The Network She Awards have grown year on year as they embraced International Woman’s Day and developed platforms of recognition and reward." £2,000 in donations was raised for the new charity on the night, as well as pledges of support. "We are overwhelmed by the generosity of individuals and companies who have offered resources and solutions to be cascaded amongst those who need it most," added Ruth. "It is stuff that money just can’t buy." Speaking about her win, Pauline said: "It was absolutely incredible to be recognised in these awards particularly in my category.  The salon has been as much a passion as it’s been an inspiration to me."
