Sophie Butson is a third-year apprentice at Jarahs Hair in Loxton, South Australia and Bohair is her debut, colourful, hair shoot.
Inspiration comes from a variety of sources; festival style, the work of Alexander McQueen and hairdressers including
Richard Kavanagh,
Lorna Evans,
Lisa Muscat and newcomer
Andy Yip.
"These looks are designed to suit a 20-year old music festival lover, an urban native or new hippy who is chilled, relaxed, lives in the moment, is arty and just boho," she says.
"Despite having all of these attributes in common, everyone creates for themselves a different edge, often extreme, that's usually linked to an attitude about their lives."
"All of these hairstyles are young, fun and free," she concludes. "This left it open for me to spin the magic of colour to reflect the attitudes of each look."
