Mtv movie awards 2011: side-swept curls a hollywood hit

Side-swept curls are always a Hollywood hit, from their retro roots in Rita Hayworth's classic style right up to the present day.

At the MTV Movie Awards 2011, both Nikki Reed and Jessica Szohr opted for the asymmetric look, with their dark locks slung over one shoulder.

I think it's safe to say that Nikki wins this one - the added length and defined curls give the look real impact, whole Jessica's whole style feels a little lacklustre - and don't mention the jumpsuit!
