Most iconic celebrity bobs named in poll

The ten most iconic celebrity bobs have been named in a poll by online hair retailer Hairtrade.com, with Victoria Beckham's pob taking the top spot. The former Spice Girl was known for her short, sleek style throughout her girl group days but it wasn't until hairdresser Ben Cooke gave her an asymmetric cut - immediately dubbed the 'Pob' - that the world really sat up and take notice. Since then, it's been one of the most memorable celebrity haircuts of all time - and one of the most copied. In the survey, she received 24% of votes. Following Posh were two fashion icons; 60s designer Mary Quant and American Vogue editor, Anna Wintour. Mary was one of the first to rock the Sassoon style in the 1960s, earning her 21% of votes. Anna followed closely behind, with 16% of respondents saying her full fringe and cropped brown barnet was the most iconic. "I had to pick Victoria Beckham as the winner," said one respondent. "The bob that she had when she married David Beckham is just unforgettable. She is one of those people who can literally pull off any hairstyle, I would look absolutely ridiculous with a bob but she looked flawless as always."
