Moroccanoil bring beautiful hair to new york bridal fashion week New York Bridal Fashion Week 2013 - hair inspirationThe team from Moroccanoil were on hand at New York Bridal Fashion Week to create hair looks for two key shows; Badgley Mischka and Monique L'Huillier. As well as showcasing some of the biggest and best wedding gowns in the world, the New York bridal shows also set the trends for more fashion-conscious brides, providing a glimpse at key looks for the coming months and how they can be incorporated into wearable wedding looks. Stylist Felix Fischer created the look at Badgley Mischka, which was all about volume - combining 1970s textures with the shape and structure of 1920s hairstyles. Tight curls were brushed out to create a romantic look, but the mood was made more modern through strong lines, with hair cut shorter and higher in the back and left longer on the sides and top. New York Bridal Fashion Week - Monique Lhuillier hair by MoroccanoilCreating an equally 'wow' but arguably more wearable bridal look was Antonio Corral Calero, Moroccanoil artistic director, who created braids at Monique Lhuillier. The show featured not just one, but six different hairstyles - all themed around the notion of  a braid. Elegance and romance were the watch words, with the styles brought up to date through a modern matte texture. "We wanted the girls to look like themselves, wearing updos with a romantic, soft and whimsical mood," said Antonio. "The attention was on the matte texture of the hair and the intricate details of each braided bun, parted side or center, with minimal volume on top." The key product for both looks was Moroccanoil Root Boost - currently only available in the US, this weightless volumising spray looks set to be a backstage and bridal party favourite.
