Milliner laura apsit livens collaborates with d&j ambrose

Milliner Laura Apsit Livens recently collaborated with Middlesex salon D&J Ambrose to create a series of looks at the opening of her atelier in Mayfair. D&J Ambrose artistic director Kieran Tudor, who is Laura's partner, created hairstyles to work with a collection of her bespoke designs. Laura comments:

I have worked with D&J Ambrose in the past, creating pieces for Darren Ambrose to be worked in to a hair show. This gave me a taste for collaborating and since then I've worked with some amazingly creative people. My partner Kieran is fantastic for bouncing ideas off and we have collaborated a lot, both when shooting my collections and a fashion film. It really is great to be able to collaborate with the D&J Ambrose brand; the way they approach their work really mirrors my ethos – pushing creative boundaries whilst maintaining a beautiful outcome and total image."

Laura's couture millinery creations are showcased in her new space on Duke Street in Mayfair. She has created collections both under her own name and for design houses including Louis Vuitton and her star-studded client list includes Paloma Faith, Rita Ora and Jessie J.
