Miley vs tyra: it'a a turban off

Miley Cyrus and Tyra Banks both made red-carpet appearances wearing turbans last night; something I am hugely behind as a big turban fan myself. Tyra kept things sophisticated, matching her black turban to her dress and allowing her loose, balayaged waves to flow freely underneath. We haven't seen Miley wearing this many clothes in a long time, so thumbs up on the Marc Jacobs dress (or is it the Topshop copy?). I love the fact that she covered her undercut crop with such a chic turban and that the one she opted for has such a cool accessory on the front. In the turban-off, I think Tyra looks best. These vintage-inspired accessories are super-stylish (and handy for covering roots), but tend to look best when there's hair on display underneath. Miley looks a little bit like she might be bald under there. I wouldn't put it past her, but it's perhaps not the best compliment to her otherwise chic look.
