Michael van clarke cycles around ibiza for gosh

Following the success of his celebrity HareStyling campaign last year, award-winning hairdresser Michael Van Clarke has taken part in another charity event in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.Michael and his team were amongst a group of hairdressers - including John Frieda and Lee Stafford, as well as DJ Pete Tong - who cycled 200km around the entire island of Ibiza over two days.
The Round the Island Ibiza Cycle Challenge for the HAIRraising appeal raised vital funds for two new neurosurgery operating theatres at the hospital.
Michael and the salon team raised just over £8,000, with a grand total of £200,000 achieved in total by others taking part in the challenge.
Michael said: "I consider myself reasonably fit, but this was my first effort at competing in such a long distance biking challenge so I'm really pleased."
