Men's hair looks at the grammys

Low key hair looks were the choice of the majority of guys attending the Grammys – surprising, perhaps, considering it’s an event where everyone can really, well, let their hair down. That’s not to say they got it wrong – low key can work, as it did for these celebs. Singer Songwriter and Katy Perry beau, John Mayer, worked the cool geek look, with designer specs and a naturally textured, but groomed  hair style. Nick Jonas followed a similar line with his grown-up look, the perfect partner to his eye-catching chequered suit. Sam Smith has obviously found a look his likes and is sticking with it – not a bad choice as the 50s vibe is on-trend, perhaps a bit more length would have given this messy quiff a bit more oomph. Prince proved that age is no barrier to being super-cool, with this full-on Afro, just outgrown enough to look effortless.   [Images: Rex Features]
