Melissa Timperley has been officially announced as a new UK ambassador for Authentic Beauty Concept (ABC).
In-line with the brand’s aims to “curate a like-minded community, as well as a mindful range of professional products”, the decision to bring on Melissa is yet another from the brand aiming to positively impact the hairdressing industry since their launch in 2019.

Boasting a “no-filter attitude, pure formulas, sustainable practices and mindful approach”, the dedicated group of UK ambassadors, educators and advocates champion the brand ethos through innovative product launches, providing insightful and relevant education, all whilst showcasing expert insight into trends and sustainable practices.
ABC aimed to expand their team at the turn of the year, which has included Melissa, whose eponymous salon is in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, is one of hairdressing’s brightest rising stars. They have said to be incredibly proud to make this announcement, calling it a “perfect partnership."
Combining business expertise and an inspiring creativity, Melissa has built both a loyal client base and an industry reputation, as well as being passionate about running a business that is open-minded and forward-thinking.
Beyond her own innovative salon, Melissa often works on collaborative shoots and brand campaigns. At this year’s British Hairdressing Business Awards, Melissa and her salon team took home two Awards – Salon Team of the Year and Salon of the Year 1, as well as being nominated for North Western Hairdresser of the Year at HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards 2021, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional.
