Mel b sports undercut and pixie goes green

Mel B has succumbed to the undercut trend with her new shaved style. She's kept the style long but her new peekaboo undercut adds interest to her lengths.

Alice Dellal was sporting the style on the catwalk way back and Rihanna has made the shorter version of the look her own.

Mel slightly lags behind lesser known stars such as Sabrina ex-Mystique singer who showed hers off on 'I'm a Celebrity' before Christmas.

Despite that, the style suits Mel and she pulls it off. The look is starting to get pretty mainstream now and I wouldn't be surprised is Bianca turned up in Eastenders with an undercut and lengths combo.

At the other end of the style spectrum, fashion favourite Pixie Geldof has been sporting pond green tones.

There seems to be a trend for these murky blues, greys, greens and purples that have a backstreet DIY punk feel to them.

Super-blogger Tavi (who also went grey recently) revealed on her blog that she's now craving sludgy green tones which she calls 'long, green and mermaid-like.'

You never know we might even see Mel B flirting with the trend in about two years time..
