Mel b and cheryl cole commence x factor style-off!

Mel B has been confirmed as the second female judge on the X Factor 2014 panel, joining Cheryl Cole on the talent show's panel along with Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh. Both Mel and Cheryl have experience on the show, with the former Spice Girl starring on the Australian version and Cheryl on the UK panel from 2008 to 2011. And let's not forget that brief moment on the US show. We can't wait to see the two fighting it out in the style stakes on the small screen once the live shows start, but the audition process kicked off today, giving us an early glimpse of what's in store. Mel B kept things low key with a slicked-back ponytail and smooth quiff, while for Cheryl it was a return to her blonde roots with a new ombre colour. In terms of styling, it was a simple side parting and sleek lengths. Cheryl wins this one for me - bring on the next round of auditions!
