Matthew Fleetwood has been announced as the new ambassador for Reuzel UK. Matthew will be joining Paul Taylor Clinch’s team of educators. Matthew was originally a musician, but his passion for barbering began when he started cutting his own hair to save money. He then became obsessed about crafting the perfect haircut as he did about creating music. After discovering his interest in barbering, Matthew decided to learn more about the trade by enrolling in a barbering course at the prestigious Sid Sottung Academy.

How Matthew became a Reuzel ambassador

Matthew shared his knowledge and expertise in education for almost four years alongside Sid in Nottingham, where his barbering career excelled. The barber has worked as a platform artist at multiple trade shows and at London Fashion Week, all while teaching at the academy. His work has been featured in some of the industry top magazines and he has competed in many global hair competitions. After spending some time at the Old School Academy in Rotterdam with some of the famous Schorem barbers, Matt will be ready to teach aspiring barbers for Reuzel as its new UK ambassador or as Reuzel would call him – a ‘scumbassador’.
