Mara hoffman partners with tigi for summer 2014

New York designer Mara Hoffman has teamed up with TIGI to create a must-have summer accessory inspired by her Swimwear 2014 collection.
The pom-pom festooned band is handmade and can be worn alone or to complement any summer updp - and it goes without saying that the colourful, homespun vibe of the accessory is ideal for festivals and holidays.
TIGI global creative director, Nick Irwin says: "The accessory was inspired by Mara Hoffman's Miami Swimwear '14 show, at which we created super long, sleek braids and adorned them with decorations traditionally used for camels at Indian weddings.
"In collaboration with Mara, we’ve created a more simplified and accessible version which can be easily used to recreate the show's look. It’s totally versatile and can be worn with braids, ponytails or however you want!"
