In keeping with the vintage mood of her latest film, W.E., Madonna sported a 1930s-style waved bob for the New York premiere.
The last time we saw Madonna promoting the film, she opted for a 1940s-style but as W.E.spans a few eras it's good to see her opting for a bit of a retro retrospective.
Here Madonna has opted for a faux-bob style, with her long blonde waves tucked up and under to create a chin-length style. A quiffed section at the front gives the look a glamorous, flattering feel.
I love Madonna's trademark roots usually but I'm not sure they entirely suit this look - when she has a lighter blonde shade it works, but this vintage style might have worked better colour-wise if she'd had them touched up first. Still, Queen Madge can do no wrong in my book.

The star of the film, Andrea Riseborough, also opted for a retro-inspired look, with her long auburn locks directed to fall over one shoulder.
Styled in big bouncy curls through the very lengths, Andrea's hair is the perfect shade to complement this glamorous look. Full of body and finished with a perfectly smooth finish, this style is super-flattering and the perfect choice for a red carpet premiere.
Maybe Andrea's been hanging around Madonna too long, but I wish she'd had her roots touched up as well!
