The L'Oréal Professionnel Portfolio Salons day saw stylists from some of their top salons descend on the Renaissance Hotel at St Pancras for an inspiring day of talks from names including Jo Malone.
Getting the day off to a motivational start was Omar Hajeri, managing director of L’Oréal Professional Products. "We are now experiencing the highest level of consumer confidence since 2008," he told the audience. "Hair is the most sought-after search team on Google and it is our vision to be the most-loved professional brand in the eyes of the consumer, not just the hairdresser."
Joining Omar were general manager, Cass Coulston and education director, Darren Oram. Together they talked through education developments and the exciting key product updates for the next twelve months. Amongst the news shared was the exciting announcement that
Eva Green is the face of L'Oreal Professionnel and that education for 2015 would be looking outside the industry - including presentation skills from RADA.
Taking to the stage in the afternoon were beauty guru Jo Malone MBE and former head of customer experience at John Lewis, Andrew McMillan.
Following a prolific career at John Lewis, Andrew is now a consultant and delivered an engaging talk on consistently delivering a defined and distinctive customer experience to make your brand stand out on a busy high street.
A beauty icon and phenomenal entrepreneur, Jo took the room on her journey from creating her original eponymous brand to the launch of her latest venture, Jo Loves. Jo is renowned for her pioneering luxury fragrances and shared insight on how to build a brand.
