Published 12th Dec 2023 by Josie Jackson

Applications for L’Oréal Professionnel ID Artist Programme 2024 are now open, promising to be an exciting year of opportunities and career enhancements for all hairdressers who take part.

The L’Oréal Professionnel ID ARTIST Programme, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023, is widely recognised as one the top development programmes in the hairdressing industry. The ID ARTISTS are trained and developed by top industry names for a minimum of five days per year to include: presentation skills, educating fellow hairdressers, digital
upskilling, hands-on training and exclusive previews of new brand launches. With a multitude of other opportunities exclusive to ID ARTISTS, it offers inspirational education, colour techniques, session styling and product know-how for stylists to develop and embrace their craft. More than 400 ID Artists have taken part in its 20 years, with a number of artists now global ambassadors and educators in their craft.

Entry for the L’Oréal Professionnel ID Artist Programme 2024 is through an audition process, which will be held virtually at the L’Oréal Academy in January. Open to various skill set combinations, auditions will take place with an illustrious panel of judges making the final decision. There are three areas to choose from (or a combination of all) to develop skills and focus on cutting, styling or colouring. The audition, open to qualified hairdressers, colourists or stylists working within a salon environment in the UK or Ireland, gives entrants the opportunity to showcase and explain their skills in one or all three of the areas.

The closing date is 16 January – and you can find out more information here
