If you're looking for a fresh way with braids, take a look at this hair by Emiliano Vitale.
Emiliano is reigning
Australian Hairdresser of the Year and is also the man responsible for bringing
Ssshhh: The Art of Collaboration to Australia earlier this year.
Braids remain one of the hottest trends for 2015, having been a hugely popular choice both on the runways and red carpet throughout the last twelve months.
Check out how to create Emiliano's take on the trend below!
Step one
Prep the hair with a texture spray to create grittiness in the hair.
Step two
Blow-dry the hair directionally towards whichever side you decide will be parted.
Step three
The most important thing is when you're parting the hair to ensure it's super natural. Do this by mimicking a massaging of the scalp to mess up the hair, then separate into the part when you're happy with the balance.
Step four
Proceed to fishtail braid the hair, being loose and random with the sections you pick up. Work through the hair all the way down to the ends. Repeat on the other side.
Step five
Take two pieces of hat elastic and the braided pieces so you have 3 inches between either and tie in the middle of the braid. Once tied, pull the braid apart on either side of the elastic. This creates an hour glass type of undone finish.
Step six
Cut all of the elastic out and slightly undo the hair by hand to create the desired effect.
