Look to the past for inspiring hairstyles

I was looking through the HJi Image Gallery the other day and came across this picture from 1979 by Strands in Covent Garden. It's amazing how fashions and trends go in cycles, and looking at old images is a great source of inspiration when creating imagery today.

In the past year Jamie Stevens and Carole Haddad are just two hairdressers who have created undercut, two-tone styles similar to this style, and while also shot in black and white, they have given their images a modern edge.
