When Hull midfielder Tom Huddlestone stayed true to his promise to have his hair cut only when he scored a goal, it was hairdresser Lance Lowe, of Carmina & Lancelot in Marylebone, London who received the call to do the honours.
Said Lance: “As soon as he scored I got the call. I was whisked up to the Hull football ground where the locker room had been turned into a press gallery.”
Lance cut the England player’s hair in front of the national press, with his efforts helping to raise a staggering £46,000 for cancer charities.
