Salon Giannasso organised a special in-salon party to announce its support for London based charity Suited & Booted.
Suited & Booted offers vulnerable and disadvantaged men the chance to get clothes that they can wear to potential interviews. The dedicated charity team also help support their clients with advice about interview techniques and other confidence building ideas.
The party, held on national Fun at Work Day, not only kicked off a collection of clothes for the charity but raised vital funds as well. In total, £400 was raised on the night from donations and the sale of raffle tickets.
Sergio Giannasso, who runs the busy Covent Garden salon, was thrilled to have raised so much support at the event, which was attended by clients, friends and lots of hair industry supporters.
He said: “I am thrilled that the party was so well attended. January can be a tough month and the party was a real high point. It was a chance to raise the profile of a fabulous charity.
“We collected so many clothes and more money than we ever expected and I can only say thank you to everyone for their generosity.”
Giannasso, in St Martin’s Lane, will continue to act as a collection point for Suited & Booted.
