London fashion week spring/summer 2014: sister by sibling

Syd Hayes created all-American bouncy blow-dries for the Sister by Sibling Spring/Summer 2014 show at London Fashion Week. Show: Sister by Sibling Stylist: Syd Hayes for Bumble and bumble The inspiration: All-American 1950s sportswear girls; Marilyn meets Madonna with a hint of Wonder Woman The look: Big, bouncy curls. Still working with the volume from last season, this time it's a move from frizzy texture to more of a curl, but still with a huge amount of volume. Height is restricted to the front, with hair worn off the face. [gallery ids="22931,22934,22933"] Get the look: Extensions from Wonderful Hair were added to most of the girls; slightly for length, but more to add volume. Hair was then covered in masses of Bumble and bumble Thickening Spray and blow-dried in with Brilliantine added through the lengths. Next, hair was tonged all over using a very small tong. Curls were clipped in place and left to set, before being brushed out with a Mason Pearson brush. A comb was used to tease at the front to create volume before finishing with Spray de Mode.
