Kenna created rockabilly-meets-goth hair for the PPQ Spring/Summer 2014 show at London Fashion Week. Show: PPQ Stylist: Kenna for ghd The inspiration: "Junior hair" - girls that allowed to cut their hair and, as a result, get beautiful graduation through the ends. To add an edge, hair had rockabilly height - tall and sleek with straight shiny lengths and razored ends. The look: Tight, sharply-pulled back double ponytails, with hair wrapping the band and poker-straight lengths finished with a lacquer-like shine achieved with the ghd eclipse. [gallery ids="23297,23296,23295"] Get the look: Spray wet hair with ghd style root lift spray and blow-dry with the ghd air hairdryer. Once dry, smooth hair all over with the ghd eclipse styler so the style is poker straight. Part hair at the centre starting an inch and a half back from the hair line and create diagonal lines back towards the ears. Next, take the underneath section of the hair and tie back into a ponytail until later – this will help train that hair to sit back. The final section is the remaining area of hair left around the crown. Divide this part into a radial section just below the crown backcomb the roots of the bottom area - just enough to provide support for a donut cut in half - then apply ghd style final fix hairspray. Once hair is in place, diffuse with ghd air to set it to stick, making use of the cold shot button to hold the style. Backcomb hair over the donut. As you move forward in horizontal sections the backcombing should get higher so when pulled back it still ends at the top of the donut. Once all of this section has been backcombed over the donut, bring back the front section of the hair, smoothing over with a ghd oval dressing brush and gently misting with the ghd style final fix to tie together just below the crown. Release the bottom ponytail and, once again, dress lightly by misting hair with the ghd style final fix hairspray. Finally, go over the ends of the hair once again with ghd eclipse.
