London fashion week spring/summer 2014: barbara casasola

Tomo Jidai combined 90s masculine minimalism with French femininity for the Barbara Casasola Spring/Summer 2014 show at London Fashion Week. Show: Barbara Casasola Stylist:  Tomo Jidai

The inspiration: Nineties Helmut Lang minimal masculinity crossed with the femininity of a French twist.

The look: A twisted chignon formed formed from a sleek side parting. Get the look: Prep hair with lots of Bumble and bumble Bb Prep, layering it on throughout. Add on more Bb Texture to the front section, and blast dry in. Add a dab of Straight Blowdry Balm to the back section, then blow-dry straight to create contrast. Keep the shape of the hair square at the front to create a masculine vibe then sweep back and over to one side. Twist the remainder into an off-centre French roll and pin, knotting the very ends into a loose chignon. Finish with plenty of Spray de Mode and Does It All.
