Nick Irwin created 'clean grunge' for the Antipodium Spring/Summer 2014 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Antipodium
Stylist: Nick Irwin for TIGI
The inspiration: Simple, sweater hair - when you pull off a jumper and hair gets a tousled with natural static. Nick also described it as 'clean grunge' - the kind of girl who is so confident that she doesn't need to have her hair too 'done'.
The look: Naturally tousled lengths with slightly more control at the roots.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with TIGI Catwalk Curlesque Mousse, which was painted on at the roots using a tinting brush to add root lift and movement. This was the only place where product was really applied, with the lengths and ends left natural and freshly-washed.
The parting was styled in wherever the model's hair fell naturally, with bobby pins added at random on some of the girls to create a nonchalant, effortless feel. If needed, a small amount of TIGI Catwalk Sleek Mystique Look Lock Hairspray was added to the very ends.
