Dom Capel created military ponytails for the Haizhen Wang Autumn/Winter 2013 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Haizhen Wang
Stylist: Dom Capel for Sebastian Professional, joined by the Sebastian Professional CULT Team and special guests from Sebastian Professional salons across the UK.
The inspiration: Military styles.
Dom said: "Haizhen really gave us the opportunity to showcase the textures available from Sebastian Professional. We wanted to complement his architectural garments that showed military references with a shape that had structure and form whilst at the same time movement and flow."
The look: A high ponytail with texture and movement through the lengths and a wrapped base to make the hair stick out.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with Sebastian Professional Volupt then blow-dried straight.
Hair was then straightened using Trilliant at the root and through the mid-lengths to give shine but without taking away the texture built from the base.
Hair was then shaped into a high ponytail and secured again at the nape of the neck. The hair was then finished with Zero Gravity giving perfect hold but still allowing the light texture to show through.
