Luke Hersheson created messy French rolls for the Emilio de la Morena Spring/Summer 2013 show at London Fashion Week.

Show: Emilio de la Morena

Stylist: Luke Hersheson for L'Oréal Professionnel

The inspiration: Neglected elegance

The look: A slightly messy French roll. "There isn't much structure to this look," said Luke. "It's like the girls have just thrown their hair up and stuck pins in anywhere to keep it in place. There's a hardness to the look - she's quite a tough girl."

Get the look: Hair was prepped with Playball Beach Fizz to add some guts, then backcombed for movement and volume.

Pieces were then pulled back and over one another and pinned in place at random, with all of the looks being slightly different.

Mythic Oil was then applied in a spray bottle to add a touch of toughness, directed on to the hairline and brushed through for visible strokes.

Hair clips were then added at random.

Key products: L'Oréal Professionnel Playball Beach Fizz, Mythic Oil, Infinuium Hairspray
