London fashion week spring/summer 2013: craig lawrence

Stephen Lawrence created gelled curls for the Craig Lawrence Spring/Summer 2013 show at London Fashion Week.

Stylist: Stephen Lawrence and the Neville team for L'Oréal Professionnel

The inspiration: Dancehall girls meet the Charleston 

The look: Slicked-back ponytails with wet-look kiss-curls.

Get the look: Hair was straightened before being coated with gel and brushed back into a low ponytail, with a small section left out around the face.

This section was then painted with Playball Extreme Honey Gel and curled around the finger, before being sprayed with hairspray and set with a diffuser.

More gel was then added to the ponytail, before it was divided into two sections which were rolled outwards and pinned into large barrel curls before being left to set.

Just before the models walked out, these were taken out to form two wavy sections worn slung over either side.
