London fashion week spring/summer 2012: topshop unique

The Spring/Summer 2012 Topshop Unique show was inspired by Egypt - most specifically, Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra. The goddess look was enhanced with gold leaf-plastered hair, created by Paul Hanlon
Inspiration: Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra, Egypt and pharaohs.
Get the look: Paul used real gold leaf hair on the hair, which was stuck down with liquid honey - the only thing, apparently, which works!
As the honey dried, the gold leaf cracked to give a shattered effect for a regal, Egyptian goddess feel.
