London fashion week autumn/winter 2013: sass and bide

Stylist: Renya Xydis for Cloud Nine

The inspiration: No inspiration as such - just the Sass and Bide girl. She's sexy, beautiful and young.

The look: A punky bun - textured with dewy flyaways around the face.

Get the look: Hair was prepped with Evo Haze styling powder and Salty Dog texture spray to build body, with models given extra volume and texture by setting hair in TheO rollers as they waited to be styled.

Hair was then pulled back into a ponytail at the back of the head, before having texture added with Cloud Nine styling tools. A combination of the waving wand, wand and micro wand was used to create a loose, effortless texture with the relevant tool chosen dependent on the model's natural hair.

Hair was then wrapped around into a bun and pinned into place. Sections on top of the head were teased out and clamped between the micro iron to set in place for a punky, dishevelled feel.

Wax was then warmed between the palms and used to pull out a few flyaways - "curly sideburns" around the face to create a dewy look, as though the hair was wet on the skin.

The gossip: This was the first show of the London Fashion Week season to attract the international A-list, who had finally arrived from the New York shows.

Olivia Palermo, Tallulah Harlech, Millie Mackintosh, Pixie Lott, Twiggy, Poppy Delevingne, Dionne Broomfield, Bonnie Wright, Peaches Geldof and Paloma Faith were all spotted on the front row of the show.
