London fashion week autumn/winter 2013: preen

Anthony Turner created tomboy texture for the Preen Autumn/Winter 2013 show at London Fashion Week.

Show: Preen

Stylist: Anthony Turner for L'Oréal Professionnel

The inspiration: Tougher than the previous Preen girl, with an androgynous tomboy feel - the kind of girl everyone wants to be. Dark romance.

The look: Naturally parted, lived-in texture.

Get the look: Hair was dampened down with water then blow-dried styling with fingers to create a soft, loose texture with a natural centre-ish parting.

Once dry, hair was dusted with Fresh Dust to add movement and create an airy, slightly static texture as the models walked.

No extensions were used - girls' natural look was key here; "no robots" as Anthony put it.

Key product: L'Oréal Professionnel Fresh Dust

The gossip: The show took place on the 33rd floor of Heron Tower - just above London's hottest new all-night restaurant, Sushi Samba.
