Nick Irwin created anti-hairdressing, anti-products looks for the Osman Autumn/Winter 2013 show at London Fashion Week.

Show: Osman

Stylist: Nick Irwin and the TIGI Creatives Team

The inspiration: Osman likes hair to be off the face, clean and simple so as not to detract from the strong architectural lines of the collection.

Working with this, Nick decided on anti-product, anti-hairdressing hair - a skinny shape tucked behind the ear which felt clean, effortless and simple.

The look: Natural texture

Get the look: Dry air was prepped with TIGI Catwalk Curlesque Strong Mousse but only from the mid-lengths through to the ends, leaving the top of the hair completely untouched. A diffuser was used to dry in the product, enhancing natural texture.

Once dry, hair was wrapped around tong to create a hint of movement - just a tiny bend, rather than a complete curl. Hair was then set with clips, sprayed with Sleek Mystique Look Lock Hairspray and left, before removing just as the models walked out.

Baby hairs were also wisped out, adding to the imperfect 'anti-hairdressing' feel.

Key product: TIGI Catwalk Curlesque Strong Mousse, Sleek Mystique Look Lock Hairspray

The gossip: Yet another show using just one or two products - the natural look (or at least a clever, subtle take on it) looks set to be huge for Autumn/Winter 2013.
