Kenna created rock 'n' roll ponytails for the David Koma Autumn/Winter 2013 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: David Koma
Stylist: Kenna and the ghd Team
The inspiration: A teenage French girl in the 60s whose just got her first record player and listened to the Beatles for the first time; she's lying on her bed dreaming about the future -a future which sees her as a model on the catwalk.
The look: A textured, young, naive ponytail with hair worn over the ears. Hair is super-shiny, but it's all in the blow-dry rather than products.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with ghd Root Lift and Straight and Tame and blow-dried smoothly using the ghd Air to achieve a smooth, glossy finish.
Hair was then styled with the new ghd eclipse to add further shine and a smooth, straight finish - it's natural and effortless, but in a very glamorous French way.
Hair was then secured at the nape with a plain black elastic - chosen to look young and casual. Loose sections were pulled out around the face and plucked out from the back to create a wispy texture.
Key products: ghd air, ghd eclipse, ghd Style Root Lift Spray, Straight and Tame
The gossip: The collection was inspired by records - the original hair look had been vinyl shine inspired by the gloss on records, but this was changed into something less literal.
