Show: Jean-Pierre Braganza

Stylist: Kenna for ghd

Inspiration: Rock and roll.

The look: "She can't help but be rock and roll," said Kenna. Combining rough texture with precise hairdressing techniques - including French pleats - these textured quiffs were given an additional edge with the application of a choppy, blunt fringe in a slightly mismatching shade.

Get the look: Hair was dampened and sprayed with ghd Root Lift Spray throughout, with an additional four pumps of Total Volume raked through with the fingers.

Har was then dried with the ghd air until about 80% dry, with a paddle brush then used to dry the rest of the hair.

A deep fringe section was taken from just behind the apex to each recession and clipped out of the way.

In the back of the head, a triangle section was taken from just below the occipital to each side of the back hairline. This section was brushed smoothly up with the ghd oval dressing brush and Final Fix Hairspray to make it shiny and tight. Hair was tied off tightly with elastic.

The top triangle section and left and right sides were back-combed using a detangling brush. The left side was brushed back tightly then the right section from behind the ear was rolled together and up tightly.

The right section was then swept in front of the ear and fastened with scaffolding pins with the top sections moulded into a fluffy shape.

Key products: ghd Root Lift Spray, Total Volume Foam, Final Fix Hairspray and ghd air and oval dressing brush.

The gossip: The backstage area was an oasis of calm - perhaps something to do with Kenna's carefully curated soundtrack?
