Show: Ashley Isham

Stylist: Helen Timofti for L'Oreal Professionnel

Inspiration: Burlesque and Dita von Teese

The look: An extreme 1940s reverse roll which is square at the nape and a cleanly slicked-back hairline.

Get the look: Hair was dampened down with water and coated in Play Ball Extreme Honey. Hair was then raked back with the fingers to keep texture in the hair rather than a comb-marked effect.

Hair was then rolled up from the bottom and pinned at the nape of the neck. A padded roll was used on models with finer hair.

Fix Design was then sprayed all over to keep in place and maintain shine. Finally, Gloss Control was used to add hold and give extra shine.

Key products: L'Oreal Professionnel Play Ball Extreme Honey, Fix Design and Gloss Control.

The gossip: The slicked-back look was the perfect showcase for Ashley's sensational chandelier earrings.
