Lauren Conrad unveiled a dramatic new colourful dip-dye hairstyle on Twitter this weekend, following a vote on her style blog, The Beauty Department.
After sharing pictures of dip-dyed colour, the Hills star asked her fans and followers if they thought she should experiment with the look - with a resounding 60% of fans suggesting she coloured her locks.
Lauren unveiled a multi-coloured dip-dye look with shades of pink, purple and blue woven through her lengths using the balayage technique of free-hand painting.
This colourful style may be on-trend but it's a real departure for Lauren, whose style tends to be simple and sophisticated.
