Lady gaga does it again

Lady Gaga is no stranger to controversy, weird costumes, or dramatic performances, so it wasn't a huge surprise to see her combine all three at the 2011 Grammys.
The star, who is currently promoting new single Born This Way, decided to take the theme of the song literally by arriving at the show in an egg, which she proceeded to hatch out of. We didn't get much of a look at Gaga during this escapade, but I love the pink bouffants on her female egg-carriers - very YSL Spring/Summer 2009.

Once she'd hatched out of her egg, there was no let up on Gaga doing what she does best. Having endured a barrage of criticism for her new single sounding like a Madonna rip-off, the pop diva took to the stage for her performance dressed as... Madonna.
Conical bra, high ponytail, leotard - well, I suppose that's one way of answering back to your critics. Madonna costume aside, I love this look on Gaga - the dip-dyed pastel pink ponytail and blunt fringe is suitably quirky but still quite accessible and fashion-friendly.
