Lady gaga covers madame figaro magazine

It's no surprise to see Lady Gaga with a statement hairstyle, but this shoot in French magazine Madame Figaro manages to combine drama and high fashion for a look which wouldn't look out of place in the avant garde category of the British Hairdressing Awards!

Rather than being completely ridiculous like some of her previous styles, this sleek shoot has a fashionable edge but still feels experimental. A short, blunt orange finish contrasts sharply against the blonde circular updo, with a thick black band creating contrast.

The geometric theme of the shoot is reflected in Gaga's outfit, created by her fashion designer BFF, Nicola Formichetti.
