Antonio Corral Calero and the Moroccanoil team were inspired by the femininity of historical war hero's wives for the hair at Kristian Aadnevik Autumn/Winter 2015.
The show:Â Kristian Aadnevik Autumn/Winter 2015
The hair team: Antonio Corral Calero for Moroccanoil
The look: Side-parted hair with structured waves falling over the face through the top and straight lengths.
The inspiration: Dubbed the 'Wellington Wave', the look was inspired by the collection which, in turn, was inspired the Duke of Wellington and his wife. The idea of a feminine, war hero's wife inspired both the clothes and the feminine hair look.
The key product: BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium ItaliaBrava Dryer
Get the Look
1. Separate hair into three. Spritz Moroccanoil Heat Styling Protection into the roots, one layer at a time, and blow dry to set.
2. Part the hair on the left hand side in a deep parting, reaching to the crown.
3. Use a medium curling iron and, starting two inches from the root, set three inches of the hair. Leave the rest of the hair to hang naturally. Work with small sections of hair and curl towards the face on the left side and away from the face on the right.
4. Finally, take one part Moroccanoil Treatment with one part Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine and rub together in your hands. Tip the head forward so the hair is not touching anything and pat the product three times on each side. This method of compressing the product into the cuticles gives extra shine and flexibility.
5. Tip the head back and pat again three times. Then, using whatever product is remaining in your hands, caress from the roots to the top of the waves to smooth.
