Anthony Turner and the L'Oreal Professionnel team created weathered, beach-blown buns for the Margaret Howell Autumn/Winter 2015 show at London Fashion Week.
The show: Margaret Howell Autumn/Winter 2015
The hair team: Anthony Turner for L'Oreal Professionnel
The look: Lived-in texture, hair styled in a loose bun wrapped with two leather headbands.
The inspiration: Weathered, wind-swept romantic hair; a girl that's gone for a walk on the Cornish clifftops and pulled her hair back to keep it out of her face.
The key product: L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni.Art Fresh Dust
Get the Look
1. Prep hair with L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni.Art Pli and dry in very roughly, using you hands to create texture and keep plenty of air in the hair.
2. Add more volume in at the front, lifting up sections between your fingers.
3. Finish with Fresh Dust, wafting slightly with the dryer to create an airy texture.
4. Pull hair back into a low ponytail at the centre of the back of the head. Create a messy, loose knot and pin in place with a couple of grips.
5. Wrap two thin black leather headbands around the head, crossing over. Pull pieces of hair through the gaps.
6. Finish with Infinium Hairspray.
