Kristen stewart's stylist talks through her edgy updo

Kristen Stewart sported an interesting knotted mohawk style for the LA premiere of her latest film, Snow White and the Huntsman - here her hairdresser, Adir Abergel, revwals how he created the look.

"I wanted to add a punk edge to the traditional Victorian updo," Adir says. Using Klorane Dry Shampoo, he blasted hair to add hold and texture, then back-combed the roots to add volume.

"I started French-braiding her hair, going towards the crown. I then knotted sections at the top to create a mohawk style. To create extra texture, I then braided hair at the nape of the neck, and twisted around the knotted mohawk."
